That is what we are talking about, isn't it? |
I'd actually be curious to read a chapter from you thesis and I don't mean that as a dick, I mean it out of genuine curiosity. Anyways, I'm not sure we're on the same page when it comes to the definition "those who are violent towards women." Are we speaking of actual physical violence, sexual violence, verbal violence, or just something along the lines of sexual harrassment. The reason I ask is because the girls or women that I treat poorly put themselves in situations purposely that lead to them being "used" for sexual fulfillment when deep down they crave attention themselves. It's not fair for women to dress in a highly sexual manner to get noticed and use this power over men to manipulate them (let's face it, women as a group are the greatest manipulators this world has ever seen) and me cannot take advantage of similar techniques to get what they want? Is a "hook up" at a party or a one night stand really going to change that girls life? I hope not because if so, and not to sound like Hitler here, we don't need minds like that walking around.
Obviously I'm not going to continue my trend of going to parties/bars and looking for girls for the rest of my life because those men are pathetic; however I'm at an age (21) where I'm not ready to settle down and
most (certaintly not all) of the girls I end up with are on the same page as me. It's not that I'm "violent" in any way towards women because I would never do something a women did not want to do; I'm certaintly not out to rape here but I do have fun. I don't think this is desensitizing me from true emotion because I do still feel and I understand situations I put myself in probably moreso than ever before. Also, I hardly consider myself feable minded or immature because on important issues (I'm not saying the climate in which we treat women as a whole isn't important, I'm saying my isolated incidents aren't) because as one middle class studnet cannot affect the social fabric in America.
...and...
