Perhaps y'all can help me out. I haven't lived in America since '03 so I'm not exactly up to date on what's good to watch on TV. Any suggestions while I sit around waiting to go back to Korea in 6 weeks or so?

Mythbusters is awesome, in fact I'm watching it right now...
-It's on the "Discovery Channel"

If you're a comedy/social satire guy you can't go wrong with:

-South Park (animated; takes on a lot of current events)
-The Daily Show ("fake" news show; does comedic looks on current political events but obviously liberally biased)
-The Colbert Report ("fake" news show; does a very sarctastic take on conservative views)
...all on "Comedy Central"

If you're looking for drama or serious shows I hope you have HBO because cable shows suck.

easy.

nip/tuck
the shield
south park

those are the only two i watch religiously. the sheild and nip/tuck are easily the best shows on cable. a friend of mine likes "prison break" a lot as well, but i missed the first few episodes so im completely lost on it.

I just watched the new episode of Dog the Bounty Hunter. Other than the constant commercial breaks and the overuse if the word "brah", it's a pretty good show. Although, I'd like to see more fights and more dopeheads maced.

24, Alias, Nip/Tuck, Family Guy, South Park. That'll do for me.

Thanks for the advice, guys! I'll have to check some of these out while I'm busy doing nothing. I'm familiar with South Park from when I was in college, but I'm not sure I've seen the others. At least I picked up a lot of pirated DVD's in China.

Robcardu - I'm a lowly English teacher who lived in Korea for almost 2 years and is headed back next month probably. I lived in Dubai before that, but China and Thailand were just vacations. The job's not that great, but the travel opportunities definietly are. I mean, I saw the Great Wall and Tiananmen Square and then two days later I was watching two hot Thai girls tongue each other out on a revolving stage. That just ain't on the menu in Korea and America! (If it is on the menu somewhere in America please let me know so I can kick myself for having never been.)

And I wrote North Carolina in Spanish because I'm an idiot. I can't think of another reason why. I'll fill in something else weird for my location later.
