You don't squat 400 or bench 225 or incline 205 (sorry for being negative but I'm guessing you play football at your school and they don't know how to run weights at most high schools).

As Deadman says- Train hard and intelligently. Watch what you eat and don't shy away from some cardio. Give it some time, be patient and reap the rewards. Look forward to seeing progress pics. Have a look around the forum to check out some nutrition and training advice!

There's lots of muscle underneath there man, if you want to get a bit leaner, your lifestyle is where changes need to be made. Maybe hitting the treadmill or stationary bike for 30 minutes when you're watching Baywatch, ordering a chicken sandwich at McDonald's instead of a Big Mac, jogging for 30 minutes before and after football practice, basically changing up a few things in your life in a way that doesn't burden you mentally, 'cause at 15, it's all about having fun man! School, chicks, sports, playstation pizza parties, that's what I'm talking about yo! You have all the time in the world to get into the kind of shape you desire, take it one day at a time man and slowly but surely you'll get to where you want to be.

I agree, just help the kid out.

I really don't even think you need to cut. If you just start eating right and work out consistantly I am sure that you will lose fat rather quickly. Take a look at everything you eat on a daily basis. Count the calories, protein, carbs and fat. At such a young age you could probably get over 4000 calories of CLEAN FOODS and still lose the majority of your fat. The reason I say this is it might be too big of a jump to go from eating fatty foods to a cutting diet. If you make a jump like that you might get sick of it and end up blowing your whole diet. good luck

Well...the bar weighs 45lbs. I then have 2 45s on each side of bar for bench. Touch my chest, and go back up...tell me how my school doesn't know how to run weights?

Its definetely possible, hes a football player. My friend whose about 195, squats 365 x 10, and its not like he looks like an absolute monster. He also benches 225 atleast 8 times.
If i were you, I'd just work on the compound main lifts, Bench, deadlift, squat, and also add leg press, military press, and supplementary lifts. Your diet is very important. Just get stronger, and leaner. Keep running on the treadmill, and doing sprints or whatnot, to get you into shape and to get you faster, since I think you want to get serious about football. Heck, you only have one chance to play football, so make the most of it. I'm done with it, the rest of my life
Afterwards, you have time to cut down and drop weight, but if I were you, I'd try to keep most of the weight, and just lose fat and keep in shape. I know some of the lineman look fat and chubby, but damn are they quick and in shape. Look isnt everything. Bodybuilders may look athletic, but some of em cant last a second running. I know when I faced a 300+ lbs lineman who looked out of shape, he would dominate me.

Good luck bro

Thanks man. This next semester I have another weight lifting with my varsity football coach. He will work the hell out of me. We lift a lot more than I'm doing now. The more I lift, I tend not to get as hungry. Plus I was taking this creatine for awile. Starting back this next semester. The one thing I want to loose is the fat around my gut. Once thats gone, bring on football season. Plus I'll be lifting during the summer for football, and we start having 3 day practices in July.

I'll get there

Does your school have a rugby club? If you wanna sport that'll get you in shape AND let you knock the crap out of people rugby is the way to go! Rugby is like football......that requires you to be WAY more athletic and WAY more tough. Look into it!

First of all, whats considered a FULL squat? Past parallel? Second, yes, 225 bench at 15 is more than likely, especially with a proper program. Pick up a copy of Bigger, Faster, Stronger magazine to see what the average high school football player can do on a proper strength program.

Try to keep lifting the whole time, you don't want to have to start over again. Avoid the processed foods, fill up on real food - you won't be hungry and the pounds will melt away.

lol, didnt want to read all the past posts,

but first, for all u bros, some 15yr olds i know bench 280lbs, squat around 400lbs. There was actually only 2 of these guys at my highschool, and they were incredibly shreddeed. They weighed some 170lbs... pretty dam big, had some 18in arms,

But to lineman... wat are your goals?

don't believe in the cutting and bulking time bull****... read wat real pros say about that...

First thing to work on is your obese. I was in worse shape at your age so i know, had a doc, nutritionist, and two other specialist tell me that before i started running. Once you get down to less than 10 %, then you can judge wat you need to work on. right now its very hard and i think u know that. Remember, losing weight is easier than gaining muscle.

oh, and rocky said it all, train intelligently.

i know im being a prick but this **** is stuff i wish i iknew... if u wanna start looking good, focus on ur muscles not the weight(do this after u get rid of fat). Right now u have no definition anywhere... you don't show peaks for ur biceps or a horseshoe

when i was training with the football team, all the guys did were powerlifting and weird ass routines that the coach said.... remember, everyone is built diff so always figure out wat works for you.
