hey guys! im new to this site. well i've been downloading the video's from this site for maybe a month or so? and i just saw this thread.
im fourteen years old, i probably dont look that young though.
height: 5'5
weight: 130ish lbs
here are some of my pictures

and a regular pic of me

sorry if you think im a f4g with my "f4g" glasses as this guy once said..

i pretty much only workout my biceps, i do push ups, and sit ups. not much
but i curl 41 lbs each arm, 3 sets of 10 and hammer curl 3 sets of 10

can someone give me tips on working out please?

when i workout every other day, i go over same exercises each time. and this guy told me its not good to workout the same muscle like that but i workout every other day so it gives me somewhat rest and i dont workout till the max when my body gets sore. is what he said true?

and when i do get serious into working out, is it not good to workout the same muscle every other day?

and how many hours do you guys work out each day/ every other day?
and how many meals do u eat a day? and do you take any supplements such as protein shakes, creatine, androids/steriods lol.., muscle tech products?

thanks alot

It seems to me the reason you think it is crazy to work out a muscle 2x a week max is because all you're doing now are pushups, situps, and curls. If thats all you do, then it's probably fine to do everyday because it's not that hard of a workout. Expand your workout. Legs, back, chest... there are muscles on more parts of your body then just your arms. And 41lb dumbell curls..... make sure you are keeping your form.

yea i know there are many more muscles to workout but my reason not to do those are because i dont want to stunt my growth tooo much. because when i was in 6th grade i was like 5'4-5'3 but now im only 5'5 .. lol
and about the last comment, yeah i know i gotta keep my form right because i do swing at times or other small mistakes
i also found this really good workout plan on this site so maybe ill start it out when i seriously hit the gym
thanks for your time to write out some info for me

why kidding? your muscles need enought time to regenerate! one group 4 times a week is a lot! especially without roids!

Some good advice: it is good that you are taking an interest in bodybuilding at a young age, but, you need to ensure you don't burn yourself - that is overtrain. Once a week per muscle is sufficient, and you don't need to overdo supplementation - just ensure you are getting enough protein (about one gram per pound of body weight) per day. Like others have mentioned, you need to research a bit more about bodybuilding to ensure you don't run the risk of...pretty much wasting time...

It's definately worth reading up and checking out a lot of different views and seeing what works best for yourself. I've been training for about 8 years and started not much older than you and tried so many different things before really understanding what to do so my progress was really slow. I say each muscle group once - twice a week at most, but remember to train all your body equally as it won't grow too far out of proportion so if you just train arms they'll get to a point and then slow down until you bring the rest of your body up! Good luck with it all!

Another thing..dont get the idea that you NEED to make your muscle hurt like a bitch and get really sore to grow. I only feel muscle soreness in chest/triceps/leg/lowerback everything else feels fine the next day for me. Train instinctive also, dont just follow what someone tells you, gather all the info you get and make your own thing.

If u want some help i can help u out, i am a bodybuilder and a personal trainer as well, first of all... you are right about growth stunt since there is no actual proof of what really happens it is better to hit the gym when you are at least 17 years old....But that doesnt mean you cant be building up your frame... I would really sugest that you do basic exercises with no weights. only for the dumbel curls and use little weight and more reps..

what you need is pull-ups lots of them, and you need dips lots of them, push-ups and bicep curls and you will be fine...I dont know if you ever saw an interview with oliver burke that when he was younger he used to love to do pull-ups and that was all he did and look at him today..... when you build a foundation the rest becomes easy...try to eat at least 4 times a day, since you are asian is even easier eat rice with chicken, noodles with beef etc. that is pretty much bb food...any question fell free to ask.
