Hello everyone,
At last I managed to upload some photos of me to the forum.
Note that pictures:The first 3 were taken on the 20th of February 2009. The rest of them were taken yesterday evening.
BTW all of them were shot after training. I haven't learned posing yet, so that's one of the problems.
Please feel free to tell your opinion about the pictures. I would like to go in September to a national competition in Romania, in the 100kg (220lbs) category. I need to gain another 2,5-3kgs (6.6lbs), and after it only defining.
Do I have any chance?
Thanks in advance.

That last shot your arms and shoulders look good.Definitely need to hit that chest hard and slim down the waist. You might could be lean enough for a show by then but in that weight range you will most likely be going against much bigger boys.
Keep in mind when you lean out for a show you have a great chnace of losing well the way you look now I bet you would lose 20+ lbs easy

Thanks a lot for your advice kaboom. I will definitely keep it. Right now I'm bulking, that's why I'm not really concerned with my bodyfat%. Actually my waist gained around 4 cms, but my friend said that the muscle got thicker there.
I can't expect to have very large upper body, and a very slim waist. :)
Maybe you are right, and I should go to a smaller category, but one thing is for sure: I will do my best to prepare for the show.:)

great work. Kaboom is right...until you get lean enough for a contest you won't know what weight you'll com in at. The 220 class is HUGE, especially if guys are short. My advice is prepare but don't have your heart set on a weight class...just get shredded and have fun!

Your right mindstar, but I won't start cutting until July. I need to gain more mass first, and then. I think it will be enough 3 months cutting, cause I don't have that much bf% even now, when I'm bulking. What's your opinion?

I'd give myself 16 weeks for a cut rather than 12...go slowly and spare muscle along the way.

that said, you are pretty lean, so it might not be too bad to wait until July. Because it's your fisrt time, use it as a guage to see how your body reacts...write things down so that next contest you can continue to make improvements.

Good luck bro!

Today at the gym before the end of my training we used the scale, and I found out, that my weight hasn't changed at all. In fact I have lost 300g(0,661lbs). When I saw it I was a bit disappointed. A bit, very disappointed, for a few minutes even depressed. :( . I haven't been in the mood to even finish my training. Maybe I'm just overreacting it, but I wanted to reach 100kg(220lbs), and now I'm only 214 lbs.:(
I thought a couple of reasons why this occurred:
1) Caught a cold, and being ill for a couple of days
2) Dehydration
3) Being busy to pass the exams at university. (Well not uni, studying for my master's degree) didn't have time to eat that well, lots of stress, etc.
Anyway my friend told me that this should motivate to work even harder, and not to give up. That's what I'm going to do, it's just the harsh reality that not everything works as I imagined it.

Yo Peet - don't be discouraged - I was stuck at 213/215 for 4 weeks and suddenly I'm up to 217! You'll make it - just eat more and workout like a maniac!

Hi mperk!
Thanks for your support. I really appreciate it. Actually my motivation is again back up. I decided that it's no point thinking about it, just do what you suggested: eat more, and train hard. Well, there isn't any other option either:P. Failure, giving up is not an option :). That show in September is fast approaching, so there's no more time to such mood swings.

Thanks Beatdownincorp. I admit that it was with gear. Don't worry you will gain muscle too, especially if you just have started. Beginners gain muscle easier in their 1st year, then the process slows down, eventually stops when you reach your genetic limit. That is the time when you could start using gear, if you want to be even bigger. Otherwise there is no point in it.

Gear alone does not make you bigger ,hard work and determination does, gear definitely helps, but without the work and drive, it will do nothing. Solid gains over 3 months, shows you are really determined, great job!!!!

True. My cousin used the same stuff a bit differently and he didn't gain very much, because he was out at the clubs partying, etc.
As you said it works IF you are determined, and working out hard at the gym.

On Wednesday I made some pics to see my progress before I start cutting. They were taken 3 days after I started cutting. Haven't started doing cardio yet, and I still have to adapt to my new diet, and still make some changes to it. Hopefully next week all problems will be solved. :)
P.S. I don't know to do the rear lat spread pose, or simply my back isn't good enough for that pose:-??.

Would have to say def. your posing for the rear lat spread, IMO hard to work on since you really cannot see your back. Looking good, def. tell the difference from the first pics. you posted where you said they were in Feb.

Here are some new pics. These were taken after 6 weeks of started cutting. The competition that I'm trying to enter will be on 4-5th of September. Right now I'm in 2 minds about attending it. Lately couldn't keep up with cardio and abs due to long hours at work, which is definitely showing:(. When I got home, I was so tired that I wasn't in the mood to do anything, let alone cardio.Another problem was that I couldn't sleep 8 hours/day which took it's toll on me:(. My friend suggested that I should do 4 times cardio/week and an hour of posing/day + work, so it's gonna be a rough 2 weeks, but I'll do my best.
I have a question too. My leg isn't very defined. Is this due to lack of cardio, or how do you do cutting for your legs, so it will look defined? Besides my posing technique what should I improve in your opinion?
Thanks for the suggestions in advance.

nice work, getting leaner for sure, yea the cardio will help with the extra bit of fat loss in your legs, try throwing in some walking lunges in your leg workout, should help with the separation, but mostly it all comes down to bf levels,

Your back is looking awesome.

Really? Everybody tells me that my back is my weak point, because it is not wide enough, and I have to practice a lot the lat spread poses. Anyway thanks a lot for the encouragement guys. I thought that will do 4 cardios a week: 2 times a week I'll go cycling, to a nearby forest, and 2 times I'll go for a walk. What do you think? Is that enough? Besides my usual training of course.
