I'll give it a good go.
I've quit drinking alcohol and gave up cigarettes as well, so now I'll be taking out all the strain at the gym.

another question... after my car accident my left shoulder and collar bone keeps me from going to heavy. what can I do to 1st strengthen my shoulders and then after I've done that get size on my shoulders?

thanks for the tips

ya quit drinking and smoking, nice!! thats your first step to growing bigger,
as for the shoulders, what can you do in regards to your injury, start with that and we can add some ideas for the training, if you can train your shoulders just not going heavy right now, but are not limited to movements, some of the best are
military press
arnold presses
upright rows
bent over rear lateral raises
front lateral raises
you can start out with a weight your comfortable with and move up in weight as your strength increases, also here is a link for some good shoulder workouts and tips,
Bodybuilding.com - Shoulders Articles!
good luck dude, your looking great so far

Yeah Mike covered it but I would also try seat lateral raises.Go real light and I mean light. The seated position makes you cheat alot less and have better form.Less chance of reinjury.Youll feel like you arent lifting enough when you pick up the light weights but believe me they are alot harder than regular standing ones

Seated sitting upright with your back touching the seat?
I used to lean a bit forward when I tried it before.
but I guess a good steady posture would be harder and more effective.

Cosign Tony . Yes bro seated upright...back flat against the bench. These get extremely difficult as Tony said a lil weight goes a long ways in these !! Take it light and work your way up slowly on the weight

great coverage, also u could try wider grip upright rows, i found them good for building width, seated dumbbell presses are the key for me. what do u do for rear delt?

that's one thing I must admit I never tried.
I always done it with a close grip (width from 1 shoulder to the other)

I'll give that a try.

I only shoulders once a week - 4 exercises and 3 reps per exercise. 15, 10, 6
should I consider doing it twice a week but with different shoulder exercises than the first?
