Hello i am new to bodybuilding and to this web site.
I am 14 years old and been body building for about 2 months now.
I learned alot from you guys in all the posts i read so it help't alot.

Alright cool i hope he see's this post too.

( I already am starting to eat as much as i can like: Meat , Chicken , Steak , Eggs and all them manly food , so hopefully i'll get a bit bigger by doing that. )

Also i have 2 relly relly relly STUPID Question , but i have my rights to ask this from: Freakzilla =)

- When you lift weights does it make you shorter .. ?
- When you eat does it make you only bigger or does it make you taller too .. ?

i started 2 years ago when i was 14 and it didn't stop me from growing (in height).. and no it doesn't make you taller :)

i've been stuffing my self with chicken and steak fries and put on a little more size....acourse i eat other things too but since ronnie eats his chicken and fries and bake potatos then i've tryed it...i can now see how ronnie is so big..

I think putting the kid on a bodybuilding bulking diet would certainly not work. He is so young, he should take it easy. He should train no more than 3 times a week with basic movements. Reading, studying and sharing opinions about bodybuilding would really help him. A diet is too much for him. The first thing a 14 year old has got to focus on is quit eating candy and drinking cola. Also collecting pokemon-cards will not do him any good

If he gets rid of the candy and understands the value of fruit and vegetables, then he's on the right path. And if he's 16/17 years old, then he can go all the way.

I agree with Sly, it's awesome that your interested in this great sport but your still only 14. Most of the mass you are gonna get is because your becoming a man, just start learning about healthy eating (don't try eat offseason bodybuilder style) and keep things simple in the gym so you don't burn out or hurt yourself. You look like you have the potential to add some good mass when your older and have a well propotioned, cut physique. Until then, have fun and keep posting on here.

I'll keep all these in mind.

And yeah i am geting mature relly fast though thats how my whole family is like...
I'm already geting 2 part time jobs, just at home.
And i'm gana work in constucion for my dads company and lie my age soon.
And my whole family is relly big and tall we work out all the time.
I'm only 14 and i am 6 feet tall.

I agree with that..but if he starts training now and learns all the fundamentals, by the time he is 17, he will be so used to training that he'll have a much easier time gaining muscle and size

but as everyone else said, start off slow and build up

Alright , But what if i dont slow down and i work out relly hard .. ?
Would that be a bad thing at this age .. ?

Cuz i work out 7 times a week , 2 times a day , for 30 mins.
And i drink protine shack after every workout.

That's bad for anyone. The most ANYONE should work out is 5 days a week, once a day, IMO.

Well, you're low bodyfat. I'd say to train MAXIMUM 5 days a week, as stated before.

That's horrible bro. Take out 9 of those workouts each week and concentrate more on eating, which will be the real factor of how fast you grow. Eat, sleep, and train hard to get big!

haha flex, are you crazy or something


that's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much, especially for a natural bodybuilder. And not very good for the motivation though.

lol I am sure it would be tough for any kid his age to follow a program such as this, but if you want to give it a try go for it.

Meal one: 1 cup oats, 2 scoops whey, 1 banana, 15 g Glutamine, 2 strawberries.

Meal two: 6 egg whites, 2 whole eggs, 1 whole wheat bagel, 1 cup oats, 1 multivitamin, 2 large glasses of water.

Meal Seven: Large plate of pasta, 1 multivitamin, 2 large glasses of water.

Meal eight: Spinach with EFA dressing, 1 medium sized sweet potatoe, broccoli, 2 fish oil tablets, 1 large glass of water.

Meal nine: 1 cup oats, 2 scoops whey, 1 50 mg zinc chelated, 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter, 1 cup cottage cheese, 2 tablepoons flax seed oil, 15 g Glutamine.

SLEEP 8+ HOURS
Yeah i proly wonlt be able to follow exacly that diet ..
But i can try to eat some of those food ..

Just remember you don't need all that food to grow. You weigh less than me so a lower amount of calories is needed to bulk up.

one other thing, don't change your diet completely within one week, gradually increase your diet 250-500 calories each week. Good luck.
