as far as stats. in the pics i am 5'9 and weighed about 175.

When i started the diet i weighed 214 lbs.

I was carrying a lot of fat in these before pics. I will say that bulking the way I did before i lost the weight did help me put on a lot of muscle though, but it came with a lot of fat. I am trying to do things differently this time.

I cut most of the weight just because I wanted to, but then when i heard about the Mr. WV competition I decided to try to get in shape for that. I started in September and heard about the show in December. The show was on April 14th.

i did a very low carb diet. i started out doing low carb, but ate as much protein and fat as i wanted. when the results slowed i cut out most of the fat. when the results slowed again i also cut down on the amount of calories to get the weight to continue to come off.

if i were to do it over again i would keep complex carbs in my diet until the last month. i cut out almost all carbs very early on in the diet. the low carb diet allows you to maintain most of your muscle mass, but your strength drops so much that eventually the muscle size decreases also.

Yep, totally natural. I still believe it's possible to achieve great results without the drugs.

I recently found some old material that I had printed out about 5 years ago. The nautilus bulletin by arthur jones. I have started reading it again. Very interesting material. I remember giving it a try years ago when I first read it, but I didn't know how to eat properly or train properly at the time and I ended up getting mono shortly after giving it a try. Now that things have changed a bit, I'm going to give it another try. Anyone else ever read the nautilus bulletins by arthur jones?
