Peet,

After I read how much you squatted I looked up the thread with your pics listed here:

http://www.bodybuildingdungeon.com/f...-progress.html

Do you really squat 418 lbs for 6 reps? what do you bench press?

Can you post a picture of your legs?

Yes, I do it with that amount of weight. I don't lie in these things.. You don't know me. I'm not that person to tell stories(lies) to people in order to appear cool in front of them. Next week I'll take a video, and send it to you, if you would like. If you haven't read my introduction, then I'll tell you that I'm on gear. I do the 45 degress bench press with 100kg (220 lbs), but that is my second exercise.
This is a picture of my leg, taken the same day as the others.
P.S. I don't really believe that you haven't used any gear while cutting, so we are even :)). Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you have used gear, just don't admit it.

Why? Because I dare to have a different opinion than him, and taking everything with a pinch of salt. I'm not diminishing his achievement by any means. Even if he used gear it takes a lot of dedication, hard work to get that ripped. I know it, and would like to congratulate on it. As for me I was just defending my point of view, and told nothing but facts. Why is that rediculous?

I'm not saying you are lying. I was just amazed that you could squat that much. It's an impressive amount of weight for most people. Regardless though, I think you will find as your bodyweight goes up, you will probably squat ever MORE You should keep us updated on how your workouts go and how much you are squatting. I dont need video proof to believe you, i was just curious. not here to hate on anyone.

As for me, I have NEVER used any sort of steroids, drugs, etc.
Nor has my brother.

It's more of a personal decision than anything else. My brother would be HUGE beyond belief if he used drugs. He already has a great base, and has the dedication that it takes to be great, but he, like myself, would rather achieve as much as possible naturally, and not risk health problems. To each his own though. I don't judge people just because they are using, especially when they are honest about it. I have more respect for those who are honest and let others no they are getting outside help.

good luck in your goal Peet.

Thanks a lot. Good luck to you too bro. Definitely will keep you updated:)
Take care. Your results are more impressive if you haven't used any outside help. At my gym there are lot of people who use gear, and don't admit it. Probably because it's fake and they are ashamed of it, but they are full of acnes so it's clearly visible that they are using something. When you ask them, no I use only creatin, and protetin. Yes, sure. :P

on the grill. some olive oil and mccormicks tomato, basil, and garlic seasoning. 1 packet for a 3 lb bag of chicken. i trim the fat before i grill it. tastes unbelievable good if cooked right.

ranch dressing, not mayo.

no supplements while bulking. i rarely even drank protein powder because i dont like the taste. i did take creatine before my workouts sometimes with gatorade.

basic foods were still chicken, ground beef, tuna, steaks, and then lots of carbs :) like rice, noodles, cookies

the key is to make sure you eat as much protein as you can with each meal, and the carbs are AFTERwards. that way you dont fill up on the carbs before getting your protein in.

i also drank a LOT of milk. up to a gallon a day sometimes.

most people "think" they are eating a lot, but in order to really put on some size, its like a workout in itself just eating. when in doubt, drink more milk.

i dont know if bulking up like i did is the best idea though for most people, because unless you have the willpower to diet, then you may regret it later. hope this helps.

Yeah you definately know how to bulk, dude - i'm not sure i'd reccommend that diet to you Moleski - at 39 you metabolism is way different than Huge. and no offense Huge but its more than just willpower to diet/cut like you do - it has a lot to do with lifestyle. If you eat out a lot or eat at friends houses, go on "business lunches", if you cook for kids, etc. it's more of a challenge than a single guy's lifestyle. Long & Short - enjoy the total freedom you have now to adjust and monitor your diet. I can see you already do this and definately make the most of it!

post a pic Moleski, and I could give you a better idea of what would be a good idea.

Like Mperk said, it depends on metabolism, training style, dieting willpower, and many other factors.

The earliest photos I had posted during this diet were after 1 week of dieting. These before and after pics are from day 1 until about a week or so ago. Quite a change for only 16 lbs. I think once I really get dieted down and lose another 15-20 lbs it will be very noticeable.

BTW, these before pics are slightly embarrassing. I was very chunky :)

Well, its been a while since I updated. I have been slacking on my diet due to being rundown and busy. The only food I've been cheating with is protein bars though. The Cliff Builder protein bars taste delicious. Other than those, I havent been cheating.

I plan to try to get back on track with the ketosis type diet b/c ive been feeling sluggish while cheating, and also i feel like ive actually lost some muscle from not sticking with my diet and being more consistent with eating and sleeping.

I'll try to get an updated pic when I have more improvements to show.

I lost almost half an inch on my arms :( I can see and feel the difference from these past couple weeks. I feel weaker, smaller, etc.

Started getting my diet back on track yesterday. Going to try to turn things around and get back on the right path.

I'm losing more and more weight. I want to see what I look like at around 190 lbs, and then go from there. Back on track with the diet! The workouts have suffered from all this weight loss, but its ok.
