Damn, dude, the pics you've posted already are AMAZING. If you are taking time off to get even better you are gonna blow people away.

Seriously, thought, don't let this thread go stale while you are working on the progress...

As we would say in Africa, "Uyangikhuthaza"
Uya = You
Ngi = Me
Inspire = Khuthaza

You inspire me

Dude;

Absolutely f**kin' amazin'! I'm about to go on a cutting diet (jan2?) got to drop below my 21% bf - hope that's possible after 40 too!

Your example of lunch - lbs of chicken, 18 eggs, etc. - was that bulking or cutting?

BTW - congrats to you & your bro on winning the genetics jackpot! ;-)

Thanks for the compliments.

That example was of bulking while i worked underground in the coal mines over the summer.

Here is a sample of what my diet looked like when cutting for the show. I had an excel spreadsheet designed to automatically total things up and to do all the math for me by just putting in the number of the food item and the number of the quantity. it would autofill in the name and all of the nutrients and then total them together.

Your age may play a small factor, but I don't think 40 is that high of an age to make a difference. Willpower is the key! I hope your cut goes well, and if you need any help let me know.

Huge -
Cool spreadsheet - is that something you would be willing to email out? I'm a nob on excel - can barely make a table. let me know i can PM you.

I'm down 4 lbs already since Xmas - (4 days of skiing gave me a head start!) Now I'm back at my desk job - want to stay focused.

Later dude

yea, i can email it to anyone whose interested. just pm me your email address. its pretty simple to use. you can change the names of the items in the top table and put in their nutritional values. the bottom table all you have to do is enter the # of the item, and the quantity number, and everything else gets filled in automatically and summed. You can then copy the bottom table and use it for the next day, and the next, etc. it will give you a log for however many days you diet.

All right how are the updates coming? Are you still in a coal mine or have you come up for air?
