Hey Guys,

Thought I would post some pics here as my "before" shots, as it's been a LONG time since I've been in the gym seriously. It's been 4 years since I've trained consistently.

When I was really training it was 5 days a week, basically for 4 years. Would have time off when I felt tired, or wanted a break. Got to the point were I was 112kgs (246lbs), my bodyfat has always been 'relaxed'. I'm about 6' 3" and I've just turned 32.

Decided that I've started to turn into a tub'o'lard and it's time to get BIG :)

Feel free to comment on the pics. These were taken Dec 06, I'll take some more today and add them so we can see if there's been any change over the last 3 months.

Hey, thanks guys.

I wish I'd read your reply re:side chest before I took these after my workout today.

Not a great deal has changed, but I figure these are current pics and now I've got something to work from.

It's so embarrassing, I look at these and realise how much size I've lost over the years. Oh well, Let the games begin, off to get some protein powder

EDIT: Rather that start a new post, I'm 32 and I weight 105.6kgs (232lbs) with sneakers on. Body fat according to those electronic scales is 26% :(

Don't depend on the electric scales too much. You don't look 26 percent body fat. Callipers are much more dependable than electric detections.

Hey, thanks for the positive feedback.

I've got myself some PVL Elite Essentials "Whey Pro Elite 80" it's WPI

I figure I'll start knocking that back a few times a day, start working out 5 days a week again, plus try and get a cardio session in too. I usually start my work outs with 10min on the bike, then maybe 15min at the end. Maybe that will do? Will post another set of pics in a months time. Be prepared for a big difference :)

Dont go by what the scale tells you your bf% is at, mine tells me that I'm 24%. Looking forward to some progress pics, but like thefreak350 said you've got a good base and you will probably find that your muscles will respond quite quickly because of your previous lifting experience.

Well guys its been about a month since I posted those previous pics and here are some more. I'm pretty disappointed in them as I've compared them to the previously set and there is almost no difference. I look very flat in these. Having said that though, my body feels much harder than before, my stomach is noticeably flatter as well.

Over the last month I've been working out when I can, but in total it's only been about 8 workouts as my work life has kept me very busy. I've been watching my diet though. Dinner has basically been rice & fish every night. Take out only once a week, unfortunately it was McDonalds last night, so that probably didn't help these pics. I have however, been drinking protein shakes probably 3 times a day (some as meals) and have knocked off 2kgs of protein in the last month.

I'm weighing 102.5 kbs (225lbs) and the electronic scales say 25% bf.
