Ok, well this time next year there will be a really amateur bodybuilding comp in my area. Northwest Arkansas classic, and there will be a teen class. I am wondering if I should try and compete. I'm not sure what the other guys will look like but I dont think I could be too far behind. My stats are 5'10 210 lbs 19 yrs old. Right now I'm bulking with a diet of 3989 kcals a day with 257 grams protein, and I seem to be having good results and minimal to no fat gain. I'll post a few pics, mainly I would just like to compete for the fun of it, but I dont want to be the laughing stock.
EDIT: The two pictures that are attached thumbnails were about a month ago at a little leaner 200lbs. The one you have to download is from today at 210.
I think u should compete. In a year ull be able to get alot better, and you already have awesome muscles. U got nothing to lose bro, only experience to gain. go for it.
Actually the competition isn't until this time next year, so I will be able to bulk until... well however long it is until I should start cutting which will just depend on how much fat I gain during the next 9 months.
Bro, you look fine. I would compete, your quads look good bro and the best way to pack on mass is to work your legs. In a year or so you will look phenomemal. Keep workin on it and cut it up and you should look good bro!!
You look damn good man - don't think you'll embarrass yourself in the slightest - especially with a year to grow even more. Have great shape and size already, and like you said it'll be a good experience. Keep up the good work - make sure you post some pre-contest or progress pics up in here! :)

Have a shot at it, you look to be in good shape. The experience will be priceless as a learning curve for future competitions. I'm sure if your pre-contest preps are meticulous enough you'll fair very well indeed. Good luck and keep us all posted here with regular updates pre and post competition.
I will def keep up some progress pics and stuff. I will probably need a lot of advice when it comes closer to contest prep... well since I have never done it before lol. I have cut a few lbs before just for the fun of it, but nothing serious like it will be for this.
