Cutting should be cheaper than bulking!

I don't understand why you think cutting is expensive.

You buy less food

Looking pretty solid, nice work by the way.

Eating is always expensive, I don't see much of a difference in grocery bills between cutting and bulking. Cutting keeps the protein high, but it should be high anyway. But all I cut out is some oatmeal ,wheat pasta, and other foods that are cheap anyway. I do agree that cutting isnt much more expensive than bulking, if at all. If it is.... what r u bulking on?? Carp?

cutting = less calories...so cut the carbs and leave the protein alone, provided you are getting enough now. Cutting is about real food, and not supplements, so there you go, no excuses anymore, unless you're lazy bro j/k

I agree, your protein should already be high enough, or your not eating properly anyway. If you cut the carbs and replace all of those calories with protein, your calories will remain the same..... so if ur on a bulking diet now and just cut the carbs, you should be ok just leaving the protein alone. And there are plenty of cheap ways to get protein, staying away from supplements.

beach boy--It looks like the consensus is that you need to focus on buring off some bodyfat. It also looks like no one's falling for your monetary excuse.

Canned tuna, hard boiled eggs(you can throw out the yolk if needed), buying meat in bulk, u can get it much cheaper this way. There are plenty of ways to add meat to your diet on a budget, I wait until chicken goes on sale and load up for a few weeks. If u wanna be a thrifty shopper, you can cut costs a lot. Plus, like was suggested, drop the protein shakes and bars, that will save plenty on its own.

I just don't think it's a valid excuse not to cut, you can cut without dropping too many calories or sacraficing muscle just by cleaning the diet up also. Get your carbs from oatmeal and wheat pasta, or some sweet potatoes... By looking at ur pics ur definitely munchin on something u shouldnt be, and could drop some bf by cutting the processed sugar out of your diet.

thanks knuckles.

I like your idea of dropping whe whey and bars to save money for real food. That's logical actually.

I will go to the supermarket tommorow and buy lots of chicken and eggs :)

Also, anytime I have ever cut hardcore, I have always gotten better results with whole foods(eliminating all whey). Supplements should be pitched, especially the bars. Most bars are high in fat and contain processed sugar....
