Ok. So here's the one from my avatar taken Nov 05.



Now here is the one taken by Evo a couple of weeks ago in the same pose (to give direct comparison) after beinf on a "bulking" diet for 6 weeks.



I know I'm not hitting my ab shot as well here - (haven't got that sweep from my lower lat coming down across my side) but I still think my condition is pretty good. And I'm not saying that as a brag - I'm frustrated. I was hoping I'd be a bit smoother and bigger!

What am I doing wrong?

Yeah, I know it's not tha long but I though there might be some difference! And I'm changing the routine as of next week aswell! 2 different sessions across 3 days per week.

Nice one Rocky. Agree with De_battre, your chest does look better in the second shot. I know that's a bodypart you wanted to improve on bud, so it looks like it's working.

Don´t worry about bulking Rocky! Stay training hard and stay in the great conditioning you are now. If you "just" gain a few kg´s a year,imagine what you´ll look like in 5 years!
I used to curse my fast metabolism,but as i get older i love it more and more!
You will look ten times better than the bulky dudes,covered in water and fat.
Be happy about your small waist and dry look..the muscle will come slowly and surely!!

Thanks very much for the comments fellas! I know I should be glad of my definition - but I suppose it's always the way - you always want what you can't get! :) I just think it would help me push past a few strength barriers with a little extra weight on me. But I suppose you have to work with what you've got!

Rocky you look pretty good, though not nearly as smooth as me. Yes, thank goodness I'm not all cut and striated like you, all of my muscles are protected from the elements by a layer of fat...I pity you in the cold my friend

Yeah, I have to agree with what everyone posted above: your chest looks fuller and your traps look a little bigger too actually. Also, don't worry about being too lean when bulking...I wish I had that problem

Looking good buddy Any idea on how much weight you gained in those six weeks?

lol at mindstar...........ur looking good rock i would agree that ur chest is thicker........not bad for the amount of time passed. keep eating big bro. what was ur b4 weight and what does ur diet look like: total=calories/pro/carb and how many meals and how frequent?

Cheers q80 much appreciated! Yeah I didn't hit the shot as well as in the first pic, but it was a pretty casual pose (if there is such a thing) just to see what it looked like on Evo's phone! So didn't get that lower lat ab tie in look. :(

yeah...definite improvement. If mass came super quickly, everyone would be huge. This game is about long term thinking and goals, fighting for that little bit extra. Great progress, and while you should never be satisfied, you should also not be dissapointed at all...

Like I said before...Rocky is a stud.

Your chest is a much fuller in the second pic and I think you definitely look much thicker overall....especially for 6 weeks of bulking. Really incredible conditioning Rocky, you look great! Cant wait to see future pics. :)
