Time to say hello

Hello all,

I guess you could call me a newbie to the game. I hate giving these types of stories but, here it goes. In 97 I was roughly 185 lbs. and was on my way to my achieving my goals. I unfortunately had an accident and landed on the small of my back L4/L5 area. I was rushed to the hospital, and was given surgery that day. Anyhow I think where I went wrong was I allowed myself to continue my diet for bulking. Not being able to do any exercise I ended up growing to a whopping 290 lbs. After years of this going on and going to doctors to hear them tell me I was not going to ever be able to lift again, I said the hell with that. I for some reason found the encouragement I needed to tough the pain and start back to my diet and the gym. It has since been two years and I am now back down to 189-192 depending on the day. I fell so much better my back no longer hurts. Life is great!

I love to read the information that I have found here in this forum. I hope I can continue to use the knowledge I gain from here and use it in my day to day life.
