Hey yall,
Been out of the loop for a good while. I had a freaking nightmare of a semester fall/winter of 2008... I took 19 credit hours, and as some of you might know/ remember college...
-engineering major
-adhd
-adderall
-study 24/7, living in the labs/library
-Equivalent caffeine intake of about 6-7 cups of Joe a day
I went downhill very fast, not eating, not working out.... and it ended with me finally getting flu symptoms and not being able to get out of bed or keep anything down for about 2 days. I went to the doctor, well I was drug/carried lol to the docter where they put 3 liters of fluid in me. Our family doctor, which is like a second mom, lit me a new one, like to beat the **** out of me, and all in all I lost about 21 lbs, mostly muscle since I was at about 6% bf and about went into a freaking depression. It was like I was on crack everyday, my physics notebooks looked like something from a schizo’ clinic...
....breathe....
Well now I am glad to say that I am back, and actually beyond my previous weight. I've been off crack/ addy lol, since last January, and I have been 110% on my diet, training, and sleep for about 5 months. Needless to say bodybuilding was the only thing I felt like I could fall on. I have a best friend who has kept me motivated, he's about 6'1'' 190 also, and we are balls out in the gym. Hes big into cross fit, so I've been doing full barbell complex's at the end of every workout, its nucking futs, and hurts more than anything i've done... its addicting... but anyways my current stats are...
Age: 22
Wt: 191
Ht: 6'
bf%: ~7%
(1sec rep max)
Bench: 340lbs
Squat: 355lbs x 2... gettin better
Dead: 405lbs x 2
My focus has been on thickening my back, and lower body. I have been religiously doin deadlifts first thing on back day, and then bent over bbell rows... I have noticed so much gain just from this alone.
Anyway, its been a long year in which I have learned so much about myself, and it has def. made me stronger mentally and physically!
