hiya im jordan nickname dor
im 20 yrs (male) and have been training only 10-12 weeks.
im training 5 times a week and covering all body parts, including legs :(
im taking protein shakes and creatine shakes. each twice daily.
i have saw real good progress in this short time in strengh and with the weights im using, but no distinct changes to my body yet, although some people have commented.
i have gone from 12 stone 4 to 12 stone 12 within this period, so im averaging just under a pound a week, so , so far im quite pleased.
my diet is really poor, i have posted a thread about this. its fair to say i have an eating disorder and struggle with eating different foods, i know this is going to hold me back. any advice for an extemely fussy eater ?
whats the best advice for some body in my position , and does it sound like im on the right track or not ?
ill be grateful of all comments positive and negative.
cheers guys !
dor

welcome! sounds like you are on the right track, a pound a week is good gains, as long as your putting on good weight. what's your diet look like?

my diet is terrible , im good for days and poor on others.
i eat a lot of chicken , whole meal bread toasted w/o butter.
i tend to eat cereals alot too, i eat low fat yoghurts, pasta and rice. i drink semi skimmed milk with my protein shakes and water with my creatine shakes.
i dont eat fish or fruit or veg or any thing really that i should eat generally or for bulking.
it is a problem for me and its a real tough problem for me , cuz i cant stand foods and i cant dare try foods.
i no you must think grow up m8 ya 20 thts summit a 5 year old talks. but it is a real issue with me and it really holds me back.
would be grateful of any ideas or suggestions.
somebody gave me a site with a list of foods on and that , and i liked maybe 3 items of the entire list. so now you can see how bad it is
:(
cheers for quick reply

LEAN MEATS (chicken, fish, steaks) all must be as lean as possible.

potatos's/starches (rices, pasta, vegtables)

fruits

skim milk

i mean the list goes on, work with what you like and eat 5 or 6 times a day. chicken and rice has become like the main meal in my diets

hey bro, welcome to the dungeon,
yea veggies n fruit are a love hate thing, either you love em or you hate em, i only have a few veggies i can actually tolerate, and for fruit, strawberries are about it there, on thing you can do for fruit is to blend them in your protein shakes with some ice, makes for a nice smoothie,,

as for how many meals a day to eat, generally 5-6 is the average, try and space them about 2 -3 hours apart at the most, and your protein shakes count as a meal also, so take that into account of your daily intake ..
