Hey i hear ya bro - but diet is the key - here's a couple suggestions:
1. Nonfat or lo fat cottage cheese (not bad with chives or with fruit) plus some Whole wheat triscut crackers.
2.(my favorite) shake made with 1/2c cold coffee, 1 cup pasteruized egg whites or "Best of the egg" (these come in a carton in the supermarket next to the eggs and are 100% safe to eat raw) 2 scoops of chocolate whey powder. if you can, mix it in a blender - it gets real forthy & good - if not shaken is okay too.
Both of those have a ton of protein - keep your intake high so you have the food source for building muscle - even if your primary exercise is baseball. Bball season should be excellent prep for a growth/bulk cycle this summer! And at 17 you have a TON of natty test coursing thru your veins - take advantage of that!
