So I guess I should use this forum to tell a bit about myself and my goals. Name's Nate, I started lifting 4 or 5 years ago when I bought a cheap Wal-Mart weight set, 'cause I figured within a few weeks I would have veins sticking out of my biceps and a bulging chest (that's all that matters, right?). I figured that running 4-5 times a week would take care of my legs (I know, I was dumb). So eventually it was time to go to college, and once I started playing rugby I realized the importance of having strong legs/back, so I incorporated some rows, deadlifts and leg presses into my routine, which helped to some degree. When I got back for the summer, I had access to a squat rack in a friend's basement, so I started squatting. At that point I finally had a pretty well-rounded routine, and progressed quickly, but only weighed in at 170ish. This brings me to now, where I weigh 190, and am bulking to 210 currently. Maxes to date are 400 on squat, 455 on deadlift, and 285 on bench.
Hobbies include eating, riding my motorcycle, being single, and learning learning learning by reading and listening, and helping out the people who are where I was a couple years back. |
