First off I came to this forum because my main interest at the moment is to simply gain healthy weight. At 20 6' and only 144lbs I'm vastly undersized. I know one of my biggest problems is my diet. I take in only around 2k calories a day and have an active job for 8 hours a day. This I'm assuming only covers what it takes to keep me going and obviously gives no room for gains. For workouts being the size I am going to a gym is intimidating as hell. I keep it at home with pushups, situps, chin ups and freeweights. I've got 25's and 40's and I can stay fairly toned with this but I'm seeing no results again obviously due to diet. My plans are to first off pick up a supplement to boost my calorie intake. Quickmass seems to be highly regarded and I plan on going with 3 scopes twice a day. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I realize I'm on a bodybuilding site but I hoped people with the most experience and drive to bulk up could even help a hard gainer like myself.
Also forgive if I've put too much into a introductory thread as it's 5am here and I only just stumbled on this site hours ago so I'm not sure how things work.
edit ~ I guess I should put something as a goal...my ideal goal is to have a healthy toned body for 2009 summer. Being 6' I'd like to see myself at 170-175 and go from there. I naturally have small bones as I can tell easily by my wrists so anything too much would just be awkward. |
