Hello everyone. I would like to introduce myself. I am 43 years old and have been a part time bodybuilder since my college days back in the mid 80s. Only got really serious about it in a short time frame from 1992-1994. At that time I reached my best condition ever; 6'1" 224lbs and 9% BF. Was considering a contest in the Va. Beach area, but never quite made the commitment.
Now 43 with 5 children later; seems the bug has really hit me again. This time I plan to get back to my former condition (or as close as possible LOL) and pick a contest to enter. Of course I'll be looking for a novice 40 and over if such a thing exist.
I am here to read and learn from all of you and would appreciate any and all advice I can get. In the past I have had the benefit of training with some pretty successful bodybuilders and have a real good knowledge base of routines that get the most out of my body. The diet on the other hand is something I have experimented with but would be glad to hear advice on; especially for pre-contest.
Again, hello all and I look forward to chatting with you soon.
Thanks, Johnny O.
I have aquired some great info in the past and am happy to give what I know to any that need help. I also believe that you never stop learning, and there is always someone that knows more than me. What I have learned I am glad to share.
Thanks for the response,
Keep in touch.
