If you make the stir fry and rice thats not terrible *just dont over do it with the salt and soy sauce*limit the rice, i would cut out all carbs 4-6 hours before you go to bed... depending on when you plan on lifting.
Using the machines is a start i wouldnt depend on them forever though make it a priority to start working in freeweights after a month or so. Find a trainer to show you how to perform the exercises correctly, you wont see big numbers at first but give it time. Dont try to do anything to quick. That means dont try to lift to frequently or too much all at once, dont try to lose alot of weight all at once *trust me you dont want to lose any musculature you have, or end up with tons of lose skin... though you might anyways if you want to drop to 200*
Best advice i can give you is to hire a trainer... but if you cant afford one, heres a place to start. Do a CRT (circuit resistance training) program where you go through each exercise once and then start over again slowly increase the number of times you go through the circuit and slowly increase the number of reps and weight used, hit each body part once... try to use machines that are compound lifts *involve more then one joint*. Do this 2-3 times a week and then as much high intensity cardio as you can handle *consistantly*, you can judge if its high intensity or not by your breathing.... you should have trouble talking because your going so hard *start out on a bike or another low impact machine because of your excess weight and lack of experience*.
