My name for now is El Dub. I have just started to hit the Gym and don't know where to start. I am a true XYY male and need to know if I need a special diet or routine. I want to do this the right way. Looking for help full friends that can guide me in the right direction. 6'2 155lbs all muscle. That does not say much. I want to gain 25-35lbs and have plenty of questions. Thanks for checking this out! I had a genetic test after a bad crash. Now I am told that is why I have no fat and only muscle.

Welcome to the dungeon! You can't have "no fat" maybe you are just implying that you have little fat. (most people don't @ 6'2" 155lbs).

I took psychology of gender so I know exactly what you are talking about. I would get some lab values to determine your hormone levels.

Instead of XX or XY some people are XYY or XXY.

I gain muscle but it is so Expensive. I eat more than any one I know. So maybe I don't know many people. I never would have thought that I was an xyy male. I had been told that they were big, thugs, who could not control themselves. I love stereotypes! I have always been thin but having muscle and strength. When I tell trainers what I am they laugh. They expect to see a big dude. I have only gotten up to about 165lbs all I did was eat. So throw down some jokes I have heard them all. This is going to be some fun. Sounds like good people inhabit this site. And we all have a common goal. I have been told so many things. Because my metabolism is so fast I should do big weight low reps. But how does having twice the testosterone help if have to eat so much. Can I do this and not clog up my blood vessels? Come on Pro's give me some wisdom my ears are open! And don't forget the jokes!

Hmm, I always thought being XYY meant that someone had Down's Syndrome or had a mental disability. Can someone help me out here on this subject?

Nope, to keep it short it simply means they have an extra Y chromosome which usually translates into extra height.

Normally men are XY and women XX. El Dub is XYY.

In my class we focused more on Klinefelter's syndrome, Turner's syndrome, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) which is on the opposite end of the spectrum.

most people over/under estimate the calories they consume depending on what their goals are. Track your calories on FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and post the results...
