first thing id like to say is i dont know shit about working out or dieting, anything

hey guys, im lookin for the best advice on how i should start out, i want to become stronger, but at the same time i absolutly have to keep working on my running. being ungodly huge is not something i care about at this time but deffinetly in the future.

i hear they dont mix well "running while trying to get stronger" but for my job its a must to have both, or i could quite literally end my own or someone elses life because im to weak or not fast enuf and cant hack it, that may be over exagerated to some degree but its not at all impossible for the situation to arise.

ive tried working out for months at a time in the past, didnt really notice anything, not because im not determined, but because i dont know what the hell im doing, its like riding a stationary bike, i can pedal all damn day but i wont get anywhere.

thx for ur time

thx guys, most of the so called advice ive been given in the past is just some steroid bs, but with the way i get drug tested its just not possible, if i could, i wouldnt have a problem using them, being in the best shape possible the fastest way possible is what matters most to me, with that said, im not here to find shortcuts, im willing to try any workouts or advice anyone has and i will try and keep everything up to date on the progress or lack of

u got it, a solid routine is what im lookin for, dont care how boring it may seem or even is, aslong as i am improving myself its gonna be awesome

the main thing im lookin for is a workout for the upper body and an idea of how much cardio is ok to get the results i need without canceling the other out

for my diet, i saw this thing earlier by i think his name was freak, so im gonna try that out to start

thx for the support and sorry i didnt reply until now, ive got a busy day almost every day

hey man deffinatly do not start roids even if you dont get tested just not the right way to go. but i think you can do what you need if you spread it out for example run in morning and hit gym in afternoon eat high carb high protein diet and drink a good protein after training and for a workout ive found the pyramid works well for building strength i went from benching 135 to 260 in about 6 months ( but i def have slowed down now lol)
