I need to learn more about different types of training regimen and dieting, for instance. What is plateau and how do I avoid it?

a plateau is the point in which neither gains, nor decreases are made, a simple stalemate if you will. the majority of those who encounter a plateau use the same workout day in and day out for months, in this case, the body adapts to the stress its put under and no gains will be made. the only thing you can do to avoid, or alleviate a plateau is to keep changing your workouts around so that your body is always guessing. change the order of the exercises that you do as well.
