What's going on everyone? New to site, happend to cross over it and found it pretty interesting. I'm inbetween football and wanting to BB. But, just thought I would say hey.

Yeah. I want to do the bb thing. Just not quite ready yet with football going. But I bust my butt in the weight room. And yes, thats me.

Welcome bra, this is a great place to get all your questions answered. Yea i played football and wrestled back in high school. BBing is great as well man, think you will enjoy it when you decide to do it.

I was just curious if someone could let me know if this work out kinda works toward BB.

Basically all work outs work the same way.

day 1- bench- warm up x2
- x 2 sets to failure trying to get 5 reps
incline bench - dumbbells same as above
Dips- weighted 2 sets 10
Skull crushers 2 set to failure
tricept cable pull down - 2 set to failure

day 2- power clean and jerk 3x5
lat raise / side and front
DB row
Lat pull down
high cable row
up right row
all x2 set to failure
lower back work 2 sets light weight

day 3 - Squat 3x5
leg extensions
leg curl
lunges
hyper extensions
3x10

Thats pretty much what I threw together. I do a ton of agilty/speed work. Probably not good enough to burn a ton of body fat.

Also, I was wondering how to drop body fat. Beside the diet thing and running. Is there something else that helps? I've been stuck at like 12 % forever.

your split looks well but i dont see any bicep workouts, its going to be tough to gain muscle mass with football, your going to be burning all the calories your trying to stack up while in season. my suggestion, bulk as much before the season as possible, even with the hard ass training your going through...then while your in season your going to cut down, i played d2 soccer and from playing in 100' heat for 90+ minutes, not to mention practices 6, even 7 times a week...i lost alot of mass, but then offseason (winter) hit and i was back in the gym at full force putting on all the weight i lost while in season. Keep your strength up, thats my biggest suggestion...while your playing though just try and get at least an extra 5lbs of muscle in the offseason before spring ball hits up...just keep building off those 5 lbs of muscle, then when all is said and done and your done playing football, put all your focus back onto bb. thats what i did and i gained 15 lbs of solid muscle and got my bf under 10% with ease. diet is going to give you that extra support you need to cut, but i know its tough finding time to eat right and such while your in season...it was hard as shit for me

Day 2 -bar bell curl to failure trying for 6 reps
preacher curls with 65 lbs *on these I curl it up then have spoter push it down while I resist.
Dumbbell curl to failure trying to get 6 reps
