Hey
I'm new here and new to the world of bodybuilding. Im an ex-football player and i have found that after highschool, ive just been sedentary aside from playing rugby from time to time. After going to college for a couple years, doing more than my fair share of partying and gaining some lbs I would like to get back on my feet and get healthy and cut.

Stats:
nearing 20 years, 5'10" approx 215, body fat likely in the low to mid 20's (obviously i will have to take measurements to be precise).

I'm looking to drop alot of fat and get lean, and while my goal is not to gain a serious amount of muscle, i would like to be decently cut. This is something i have been putting off, and this site has given me the motivation to get my ass in gear. Im not quite sure where to start, so any suggestions are appreciated. Ill be on here perusing the forums trying to learn all i can.

Looking forward to getting to know you all, and hopefully finding some direction.

Again, any suggestions on where to start?

peace
mike

Welcome miked!

All is not lost. It's not about how far you've fallen, but how far back up you can bounce.

I agree with Ken's suggestion, but would add to it that buying the gym membership alone won't help much. You have to use it after you buy it. (Been there. Done that.) LOL

Keep reading, there are lots of guys on hear with good information and many of them are only too happy to share it.
