hey guys, i am a 24 yr old who has decided to go from a bloke at the gym to taking it more serious...i wanted to get some pionters to start....i have a pretty good upper body but i can't seem to develop my calfs and loose the sides of my midsection...i have slightly developed abs but ,y sides are letting me down......HELP ME OUT FELLAS

the side bits are called obliques. to help build calf mass you need to train them about 3 or 4 times a week with lots of volume. the training section is available if u need more help or advice, as is the diet sections.

oh, and welcome to the boards too dude

thanks for the help champ.......any other advice for a beginneer.

my training spit is 4 then 3 break....i train for 1-1.5 hours and work a body part a day

any plans?

Welcome! Only over an hour on leg day. I would go 2 days, rest, 2 days, rest.

You will not really see your abs unless you have <10% bf so if that is your goal keep lifting and do cardio. As for your calves (gastrocnemius) you might have a high insertion point.

My advice is stay consistent, don't quit, and get your diet together.
