Hey all,
I'm a 24 year old guy, just moved back to the city from a year studying in the country - geez gym's are so much more expensive here. Haven't lifted a weight for about four weeks as I'm trying to get back on my feet, and I'm suffering major withdrawals. I know what gym I WANT to go to, but affording it is another thing.
I'm in the process of overhauling my diet. I've been pretty happy with my routines over the year, but my diet hasn't been supporting it at all. I've lost more weight than I've gained in the last nine months, and considering the intensity of my routine that ain't right.
I'm really just starting out (first joined a gym 3 years ago) and a trainer at the gym in the country mentioned this forum. Hope to get support and understanding - most people I know think bodybuilding is silly, and all about vanity. For me it's about self-realisation.
Anyways, enough deep and meaningfuls. Look forward to browsing the boards.
