What was all the hype about alexander federov? He came to the olympia with one of the worst physiques. They shouldnt have ever invited him.

he had torn pec muscles and quads i think. and he did really well in russia, thats how he got invited.

yeah he qualified for the olympia with 2nd at a russian grand prix he doesnt need bashing.
check out his side tricep its the best in the world and hes only 27.

I just hope he can overcome any chest problems with his tear and bring his lats out wider and he will be a massive force.

It's all about publicity and hype. It sells product. You don't think the organizers knew what he looked like?
It's the old Rocky formula. Promote the mysterious underdog (Drago) from another country. It peaks peoples curiousity. I'm sure everyone on this board was curious. I know I was. I think the sport needed it somewhat.
The Cutler/Coleman theme is a bit old. Trust me, the organizers knew the outcome long before Fedorov stepped foot on the plane to Vegas.
If you ever watch an interview with George Butler who directed Pumping Iron, he did the same thing with Ferigno. Arnold was in sunny California and Lou was in a basement gym in Brooklyn. Would the unknown beat the champ?

hes only 27, huh? he looks damn good for being that young. if he can overcome injures he will be in the top 5 i think in several years
