Do They See It?

I really wonder about the attitude of the organizers/directors/media company that run the Olympia. I'm sure they acknowledge the obvious issues like the unorganization, lack of PPV quality etc. But do they think the Mr. Olympia in general is going in the right direction? I think it's going down the commode myself and it seems so do the majority of people on this board. I wonder if they will make big changes (like scrap the chump round) or if they will try to make it stand the test of time. I think it's garbage and they need to acknowledge the fact it needs big changes. Thoughts? Or will they wait until Wonderboy wins in '07 and make some changes that year?

Yeah, they Definetly need to lose the main announcer. I'm still uncomfortable from having to look at his hair. Reminds me of a really yappy dog. I could also live without American Gladiator boy. I don't know if you guys used to watch it, but I kept expecting him to say "Posing next is The Champion of the Gauntlet - Hawk!!!"

I bet that they will keep the challenge round one more year just to finish beating it to death. As far as the rest goes i think that they really need to use this years mistakes and learn from them. That was one of the worst live shows ever i would rather them go to a tape delay system that was cleaned up than this live shit running like they have there heads in there ass.

He couldn't even pronounce "DEREM" right I think he said "DREAM" or "DREM"

For fuck's sake how can you be an announcer if you don't even know the competitors' names??

Anyone who has the least interest in bodybuilding knows DEREM CHARLES

Agree, but i think Shawn Ray is a very good comentator, alltho i diden't see the thing he was pretty good in the 2001 Mr.O (quick version).
