True other sports use roids but there is no plus side to it!
Why force competitors to kill themselves! It's just not right! Why does it have to get to that point. What is the point of being built like a brick shit house when your hooked up to dialysis in the future.

Plus you have to admit on these boards there seems to be a view that the only way to be a bodybuilder is to use roids! Is that really fair to the next generation! Are we becoming responsible for destroying others lives!

Plus the public discredits any one who gains any muscle by accusing us of taking the juice!

Muscle does not = steroids

We need to get rid of this mentality out there!

To me it is just plain wrong

I know what you mean, but at the same time I really dont see steroids ever NOT being used in sports. Unless, the organizations would strictly test the way they say they do. Problem is, if there was to be no steroids in sports...you wouldnt have 250+ pound BB's, 500+ foot homeruns, 300+ pound football players, hits that take the crowds breath away, guys benchin 700+ pounds, squatin 1000+ pounds, pulling a semi down a road, lifting 300+ pound rocks or 70 homeruns in one season. A lot of the enjoyment or crowd pleasers would be taken out of the sports. Sports would probably go back to the way they were 50 years ago, attendence would go down, tv ratings would go down and people just wouldnt be interested in sports as much as they are today. Plus, you have to remember that sports today go by a phrase "If you aint cheatin, you aint tryin". that says a shitload right there

I don't rekon. Your assuming ever one is on the juice! There are plenty of athletes who are not users! They would still crowd please!

But more importantly the athletes would not get screwed over! More people should come to the public condoning the use!

afterall a million home runs doesnot change the fact that these guys are suffering after the sport has chewed them up and spat them out!

Im not saying everyones on steroids. I'm just saying that there are many athletes that use them, more than most people think. Anyways, the athletes arent forced to use steroids. When you have guys that live for their sport only, they dont care if they die at the age of 40. As long as they had a successful career. I think thats pretty obvious when you have guys like Barry Bonds who uses steroids and picks up his kid every time he hits a homerun....think about it

Any way I will continue to do my bit! Train my ass off just to prove that it is possible to get some where in the sport! I will continue to speak against against drugs with in the sport because it is important!

When winning is the cost of someones life then you know you have gone to far!

Feel sorry for Barry Bonds Kid! I bet he would trade all the money in the world when his old man dies or has to live out of a hospital!

It's not worth it!

Like i said im not for or against steroids. its just the obvious. I think "to far" is a phrase some athletes would laugh at. and yes, you can get somewhere in the sport w/o steroids...but you will never be a top notch athlete. which is more important to some people than their health

Honestly Inclinebenchpress get over it. Steroids can be used and abused. It is the athletes choice. Arnold took them and the bodybuilders that followed. Mike Matarrazo and Tom Prince waited to long to get regular check ups and paid the price and Tom Prince admitted to that. At Ronnies training weekend he hands out a sheet of paper with all the blood test results he gets regularly, at least 5-6 times a year. According to him he is healthy. But who really knows.

As far as other athletes in other professional sports being chewd up and spat out, that is total bullshit. I would do just about anything that didn't involve hurting someone else to be a professional athlete because I love sports more than anything else, and the money isn't to bad either. Many of those athletes that may or may not have died or ruined their health from drug use is debatable (Drinking like a fish, smoking weed, cocaine), but one thing they all have in common is that most of them didn't have a fucking clue what they were doing and should have researched the subject a lot more before taking that step closer to mortality.

If Ben Johnson hadn't gotten caught in the 88 Olympics, none of this would be discussed.

like he said. i would have more respect for someone on steroids than say someone who drinks and drives or smokes. when someones on roids it doesnt effect me. i drive home late at night, see a drunk swervin in front of me. i see drunks run red lights. i walk out of buildings and get a face full of second hand smoke. when someones on steroids? no affect on me.

Zayster Arnold covers up alot of his medical problems! He publicly condons the use of steroids and even has gone on to admit that he didn't really need to use them!

If this is politically motivated who knows

as for Mike and the Prince they have openly come out with what is happened to them. You have to be brave to admit nowadays considering how it will effect there future endorsements. They also admit that they would never have touched the stuff if they could do it all again!

As for Ronnie just because he is the champ does not mean he is on roids!
He has never admitted to it so you have to give him the benifit of the doubt!
Innocent until proven guilty I say. But if you believe he is email him Im sure he will tell you what he thinks of that!
