whats your thoughts on Dexter Jackson skipping the O

with Dexter out that leaves a 3rd-4th open.. we all know Ronnie will win and Jay will come second like it has been since 2001 (except in 2002 when Jay didnt compete)

ive heard rumors that the reason Dexter Jackson isnt doing the O is that he has joined or going to join another Federation?!?!?...

he said a while ago he has a BIG annoucement at this years Olympia...

He got screwed over big time last year. Gustavo? What the f*ck?

It's clear the IFBB is looking to diversify its fan base (latin, european, american, australian, asian). Three americans in the top 3 again wasn't the way to accomplish this goal.

I'm happy the Arnold Classic judges got it right this year (even though Cormier was razor sharp). This physique is awesome to say the least and should never again be out of the top 3 at any competition. Nobody looks better in the relaxed pose. Nobody.

Exactly, that's why he was an attractive candidate for the top three. I guess the IFBB/AMI didn't want another all-american trio.

I agree he was definitely top 5 material. But keep in mind those poses are fairly easy to look "decent" or better in. Check out the front double, where all flaws (or lack there of) come alive

Well this topic is certainly intersting, in my opinion Dexter is amazing, he is coming shredded to the bone amazing condition with enough mass and great arms, he is for sure one of the best bodybuilders around the world and any placing for him worse than 3 is considered as a loss, in 2004 tho Gustavo came to the scene almost as shredded as Dexter but held a little more mass and naturally his height and thickness/wider back helped him to "dwarf" Dexter, if you look in the pictures 1 by 1 that Pain posted, Gustavo looks a lot wider which makes the illusion of him being a lot bigger...

Dexter is amazing but in 2004 i think Gustavo had him no offense, i like Gustavo and i think he will be someone to count in the next few years at the Olympia, but i really hope Dexter will return stronger and better in 2006. The Olympia isn't the same without "the blade"

Damn that last back shot made my mind up for me, I think Dexter should have gotten third but Gustavo has even but Dexter's back looks better imo and that shouldv'e given him the edge on Gusta
