In response to the thread about Wheeler being better in '99 than Coleman.
There is no way he was better than Coleman in '99. Coleman's upper body was much bigger and fuller, his back was much wider and thicker and he had striated glutes and detailed hamstrings. All of this plus he outsized him.
Wheeler had soggy glutes, no detail in his hamstrings and no width to his lat spread (front and rear). I watched the video the other day and I thought he was lucky Cormier didn't knock him down to third.
Now, you can't really compare Cutler to Wheeler because their physiques are so different. But Cutler hasn't been able to compare to Ronnie from the rear. Ronnie has him on width, thickness, conditioning (yes, conditioning) and detail.
He outsizes him from the front and IMO beats him in every pose except abs and side tri.
It will be more of the same this year, escept I think Ronnie will suprise everyone and come in lighter and harder. He deserves that title hands down. |
