what ever happened to the Mr. Universe and Mr. World competitions?

dont know bro. all i know is that hip hop producer TIMBALAND is entering the mr miami classic in july i think...if he does well in that he enters mr universe...

i know i couldn't believe it either till i was on the phone to another PR last month in the U.S n he told me...he was saying that its been one of timbalands ambitions to become mr universe.

well i actually have no idea..i havent heard a single thing on either event for **** knows how long.
think about it..all you ever hear about is the NoC, Mr. Olympia and Arnold Classic and a few other events but never the Mr. Universe or Mr. World competitions....
the lack of Mr. Universe related topics, news, ect is what drove me to ask this question

Steve Stinton won the pro Mr. U in 2006.

It still exists. Its sister competitions are an amateur Mr. U, Miss Physique and Miss Figure.

I doubt that he has the ability to win the Mr. Universe competition. He only started to workout a couple of years ago.
