I guess it was because of the reaction from the crowd, mostly cheers, but then some boos, kind of like when Ronnie beats Jay ya know! I know that Darrem had a ton of fans, as he should, he's a great champion and I'm sure he would've gotten the same reaction last week if he had won the Colorado.

I just hate seeing people I know and respect disappointed because I know that he probably wanted this win more than last weeks show. If you saw my reaction at the USA's it was just like last night, as I was disappointed that my friend Marcus Haley didn't get awarded his pro card. I've made some great bodybuilding buds and even though we're not friends, there is a greater respect and rapport that goes further than the stage. I'm also stunned because my career has taken off so fast that it is difficult at times to let things 'soak in'. I try to have some quiet time alone in Colorado and on other vacations to achieve just that because I need to absorb the feeling of being a champion. I never believe my own hype, so maybe that is why I continue to be chill about everything, as I realize that one day, I will lose and then I shall see who is behind me. I thank you all for listening and I am now going back to bed before my flight to California for some shoots with FLEX and M&F.

Peace!

Phil

Congrats indeed to Big Phil. Can't believe I missed another show!
Phil sure is on a role and credit to him for posting on here and with humble and realistic words. Credit to the sport.
Glad Darrem placed high too - all too often overlooked.
