Branches legs are amazing.. from the front and side specially..not so much from the back. ..i agree with philosopher about Baddell better in the back.

Baddell wins imo...a better overall package

I agree that Branch definately has the better condition and it's only the abs and Back that Gustavo had him on.

Badell definately had the better package. He seems to really nail the poses really well and flex as hard as he can. Just looking from those side-by-side pics with him and Branch it seems like Branch was was more relaxed when hitting a pose. Gustavo really does good a most muscular shot.

gustavo had better back poses, and better abs IMO. but i hate gusty, so i still think branch should have won.

I wanted Branch to win but putting all things in perspective and then choosing based on actual pro and cons...Badell did win. Both had great conditioning but Badell had beter seperation and his abs definitely beat out Branch's.

I personally think that Gustavo earned this one.
As someone mentioned already, he tends to get better as the night progresses (in the majority of his shows).
Just my opinion.

i think gustavo beat branch in back, arms, abs and overall package.
Branch was great, but he was better at the arnold, while gustavo was off at the arnold and better at the san francisco pro.

I believe Gustavo deserved to win this time.

I got to see the live webcast and IMO Branch had him beat. Better conditioning, better posing, better overall package. Branch should have won.

I am by no means a Badell fan but i have to say this is about the first time i have seen him bring anything of merit to the table and i think he actually looked better than Branch. The difference between his look here and at the AC is pretty big even to my untrained eye. I am not sure what all the judging criteria are but going simply on those side-by-side pics i reckon Badell looked better in just about every shot.

Until now i had thought Badell's high placings signalled the death of aestheticism in the sport but now i have to grudgingly accept he may have something to offer. Credit where credit is due.

it's a sad news that branch got 2nd place again.. but in my opinion, gustavo deserved that first place. he won in back coz branch back looks soft..
