According to flexonline, Dexter colapsed after the first round of pre-judging and was asking for oxygen.

maybe the cause is the dieting and the non stop training for contest preparation..

Something is going to have to change in the future or you'll have more bodybuilders getting sick at shows as they try to come in dryer and dryer.

^^^^ True....diuretics came on hard in the late 80's and 90's....a few low level pros died in the mid 90's. Mike Matazzarro (spelling), passed out after the NOC. His resting heart rate was around 41 BPM and his blood pressure was like 201/120....He is lucky the level of dehydration he hit didn't kill him. I worry as well about the level of dryness we expect....scary stuff..It pretty much would be like forcing your car to drive without oil....

Cars need Oil???

Yes it was bad in the evil 80's and 90's Albert Beckles hit the deck in a full body cramp as I think did Mohamad "MOMO" Beniziza, I forget what caused his death but as CWUTrainer said a few Pro's did die, I even seen guys that are just at National level cramping badly and not or only just finishing their routines.
