Hello bodybuilding fans!

We are pleased to announce a record number of competitors for the Cell Biology &
Workout World 2006 IFBB Australian Pro Grand Prix VI. With only three weeks to
go, the excitement is building. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre
is amazing and will provide Australian Pro bodybuilding's best venue yet. Check

After winning the IronMan Pro in California last week, Lee Priest will defend
his Australian Grand Prix title against some of the best pros on the circuit. Mr
hardcore bodybuilding, Branch Warren, one of the best in 05. Mustafa Mohammad
from Austria is a mass monster who can be a threat in any show on his day. Vince
Taylor 5 X Masters Mr Olympia and turning 50 this year, Vince is the best poser
I have ever seen, he set the new standard in the early '90s, when he competed
against the shape machine Francis Benfatto, who at 48 is making an amazing
comeback to compete against Vince one more time. Christian Lobarede traveling
from Chile, is back. Christian competed in our 1st pro show and was the crowd
favorite.
Representing Australia, Charles Duca (Sydney), Neil Gardner (Melbourne), Bill
Leonard (Brisbane), Beat Meschberger (Perth) & Jon Davie (Gold Coast), will
battle out a contest within a contest, a special and rewarding prize awaits the
highest placed Australian resident. (Queenslander, Jon Davie qualified for the
Olympia in his last Australian Pro Grand Prix.)
2005's 3rd place winner was Ronnie "The Rock" Rockel from Germany, if he has
improved at all he could take out the whole show. Rising star, USA's Kris Dim
was 4th at last weeks IronMan and is a last minute sign up. Big man Eddie Abbew
makes the journey from England, Gianluca Catapano from Italy and Alison Maria
from Netherlands. Former Aussie resident Pietro Gilberto represents Switzerland
this year. Zoran Vejic from Serbia and Heiko Kallbach from Germany are still to
confirm.

The bodybuilding and fitness expo is free and kicks off from 10AM, the pros will
be on hand to meet and greet the fans. The pro bench competition will have 10

aways.

The Aussies have spoken! It sounds like an excellent lineup; I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of damage Rockell can do. Lee's a heavy favorite for sure, so it'll be cool to see what happens.

On a side note, what do you natives think about Cormier's little rant after taking runner up last year? Namely when he said(might paraphrase a bit here), "I've done more for Australian bodybuilding than anyone there(Priest especially) has." Seemed a little immature to me, but all in the same, was there an Australian backlash for said comments?

That probably came after he and I think Ray plus others had been here doing promotional camps and stuff.
You know what onebigeric, Lee Priest is basically a local from were me, Peanut and Chesticles come from, I have met Lee and trained while he has been in the same gym and trained under a fmr mr australia that helped Lee......And I would pick Cormier over him everyday of the week, twice on Sundays. Because of his physique and his personality.

NEWS FLASH FOR PEANUT: Doubt if it will continue to be in the North bro, only reason this year was to avoid the clash with the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. sorry
