I disagree with a lot of you guys in terms of needing more thickness, mass, width, etc...The guy definately has the muscle and so far better overall packages have been awarded this year. He looked good at the IM but didn't nail his conditioning, though I still had him in the number ten spot ahead of Cook and Haidar. I think if he times his peak properly he can do well in a lineup that isn't as strong as we once thought it to be.

i dont think so... theres a lot of competitors there that have mass but also have a good conditioning. mass+good details=winner...

Actually that's not the formula or people like Art Atwood would have a much better career than they do. Proportion is slowly but surely taking over, it's mass with proportion/symmetry and detail/muscle maturity that'll win you shows. The last person to win a show purely on mass and detail was Ruhl back at the 2002 NOC (at least that I can remember). Really, look at the new competitor list. This guy can definately place well in a list that has grown increasingly weaker and as stated before, he definately looked better than Cook and Haidar at the IM. Like I said, he needs to be at his all-time best, but he definately has a good physique and great potential.

yah know its funny, we say he needs more thickness but the guy looks absolutley nasty. its a real shame that nowadays hes not near big enough to hang with the top guys. bodybuilding sucks.
