Personally if I wanted to lose 20 pounds or more the stair stepper, bike and tread mill would be my best friend and some circuit training to workout your muscles but focus on keeping the heart rate up vs. building muscle size.

If time permits I would maybe do 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening with mainly cardio and some weight training. To lose a lot of weight and quickly you'll burn calories fastest doing mostly cardio with your heart rate up at the appropriate level.

At least that's what I would try if it was my main goal.

Hey welcome to the dungeon!!
:)

I pretty much agree with what has been said already.

Online you can find sites like:
FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal
CalorieKing - Diet and weight loss. Calorie Counter and more

^^ These will help you monitor your calorie intake. For a good idea where you are at enter all the foods you are currently eating into the food log, you must be honest with what you eat and if you do it correctly then you will understand why you do have a little extra weight.

That being said it will also help you create a more healther eating style!! All of us here can help you there as well!!!

I hope you have an awesome time here!!

You might need what I needed to lose my belly, a diet pill. I wasn't much of a believer that a pill could make you lose weight but after my friend drop hugh numbers of pounds i had to try. I was willing to try anything and really wasn't expecting much even though my friend lost weight.but a surprise came a few months later when i lost 9lbs. That really inspired me to work out and than i started losing pounds like crazy. The pill i took was called MuscleTech Hydroxycut Hardcore. My friend offer me the website she went on to get it cheap. It was, didntreadtherules.com. You should get it the week you order, unless its on backorder like it was for me. but i love these guys, they're great.
Anyway good luck!

Besides the fact that hydroxycut hardcore makes you jittery as hell, Id say youd need to get your diet and workout in check for a while before you decide to take any pill. this is where you will see the results.

Make sure you have a good amount of HEALTHY fats in your diet!! It keeps your body from craving food and overeating. Big nono. Next take those spin classes. They suck ELPHANTITUS saggy BALLS!! But there worth it, the high intensity of rather it be spinning (which I mention cause at most gyms is free and I usually am to embarassed to bow out before the 60 yr old in front of me) or rowing. But in one session make sure you go hard for 1 min and lay off. keep your body guessing. Never let it know what your going to do. You want your body to use as much fuel or "Fat" as possible. Next lift heavy. I know people say dont. But you will see changes in your body quick. Well you will be lean. If thats what you want.

Yea diet pills are no joke, I tried some of that hydroxicut hardcore before a workout, 3 pills and after doing a set on my triceps I got on the tread mill and checked my heart rate and it was 147 BPM, usually my heart rate is in the low to mid 120's tops. Each pill has more caffeine than a cup of coffee and whatever else they put in it.

If you're looking to slim down and stay that way, a change in diet and adding a workout routine that you stick with is the safest and most dependable way. Pills work to help, but if you lose 20 pounds by dieting along with some muscle and don't have a good diet and workout to maintain it, you'll gain the weight back and end up having more fat than you started with.

IF your looking to slim down do like was said before, diet, exercise and cardio but here are some things that might sabatoge you so make sue not to do them. 1st is to skip a meal especially if it's breakfast. After 8 hours of sleep your metabolism needs to be kick started and a good breakfast does just that. My suggestion is a cup of oatmeal using steelcut oats mixed with a 1/2 cup of raw unsalted almonds with a banana. Eat 5 times a day as opposed to 3, believe it or not but when you lose body fat the right way you actually end up eating more food, you just eat the right kind of food. When it comes to excercise a combo of weights and cardio and with the weights stick to compound excercises.

Diet and exercise.

Simply put that's all you need. 30-45 mins cardio every day and eat small meals every 2.5 or 3 hours. Aim for 6 meals a day. Drink a gallon of water a day. Do those things and cardio every day and you'll lose weight fast, I guarantee it. And healthy fast, not dangerous like doing it with many supps.

Its simple, all you have to do is that you should start giving your legs some burden. Walk as much as you can, give your bicycles some time.
