maybe add a spell check?

While I was reading a bunch of threads, I noticed a lot of guys can't spell common words, and they admit that they can't spell things properly. Would it be at all possible to maybe add a spell check to make it easier for us members to read and help out the original poster? Maybe something like the new Word 2007 has how it capitalizes each word for you at the beginning for a sentence and all that goodness. I know it's a stretch, but was curious to see if this would be a reasonable idea.

When using Firefox there's an auto spell check, not the case on IE though. Dunno if its possible but its a good idea

lol why? its good to spot errors sometimes at least for me. my spelling sucks so i try to see whats right and whats wrong. not saying its wrong or anything but i prefer to see it wrong first before i see it corrected.

Yeah I use IE and I also post a lot from my itouch, which automatically corrects everything for me

It doesn't correct the words for you on Firefox, it will just put the red line under it.

google chrome has spell check ajtomatically. :)

Chrome wasn't doing it for me.. I have Chrome, Mozilla, IE, and Safari all on my computer. I like to switch it up.

in the reply box there is a spell check option just so everyone knows, sits the abc with a check mark next to it.

on the top of the quick reply box its to the right, the second to last button.

Yeah, most browsers do this for you, or at least give you the option. We didn't require spell check here because quite honestly, it's annoying. Try putting AAS or PH or something like that in a thread, and the spell checker insists that those can't be real words. Sure, you can add exclusions to it - but that list would be so long it would be ridiculous. In FireFox, it underlines a misspelled word in red, and you can right click it and choose a replacement if needed.

Yeah that makes sense. Even the itouch changes words on me when they are spelled correctly, and it is quite annoying indeed
