i have just been thinking about this lately...maybe there is a reason why it isn't used but.....i think there should be a way to give a person reps by say going to there profile or something like a button there you click to give reps....only reason is cause say if someone gave you great advice in a pm or something...then you have to go and look for a post they had in a thread to give them reps....just thought it would be easier....maybe there is one and i just don't know about it but just something i been thinking about....

I think the system was designed to give people reps for specific posts, and not a more generalized method like you're talking about.

About reps.. I dont understand it quite yet. For example, how much reps is 100 reps worth? When I give lets say 150 reps to someone, they dont add up to that amount, but often just a few reps instead.. So I dont get it? How much is a rep worth exactly?

It has to do with how many reps the person giving the reps has too.

Ahhhh ok, so I can only give as many reps as I have. I felt like a tard giving so many good people 1 rep, but that was the only option it gave me then.

The rep thing is more of a popularity thing anyway. I've seem people with huge rep counts but you look at the posts they make and all they talked about was music and computer games.

People can decide themselves who to listen too.
