Old/dead threads

Hey all and WM,

Just wondering if there was any way to lock old threads or something of the like. I've just been cruising through some new posts and found at least 5 threads that have new posts but they are the first new posts in those threads in at least 2+ months.

Is there any way that we can keep these threads but lock them so they can only be viewed and not replied to? I think that by doing that people can still view info/pics or whatever but not contribute to old and irrellevant threads.

What do you think?

WM is the guy to talk to but yeah it is annoying when people post to dead threads.

especially when they start bickering over year old threads

Or asking questions to people who were banned or haven't been on in a few years. Or telling them what to do.

I believe its just something we need to put up with, it happens on most forums even though it is very annoying.
