Indeed.

VIP is achieved after making a good ammount of quality posts and helping people out. The preferred method is buying one from WM, but lately they seem like cereal box prizes.

Actually the preferred way is to make quality posts, not to pay for it. Getting the VIP is just our way of saying thanks if you choose to donate to the board.
