It seems like alot of people register just to get access to the adult section. And the video and picture sections. I propose we make these parts of the BB for members with 100 posts and more. I dont even have that many posts yet but I think its a fair suggestion.

but when you look at it from the other way:

bbd has made the reputation that it's the biggest most updated bodybuildingmedia website on the internet. if the staff decides to make it "private" it'll be like elitefitness starting to ask money for the knowledge on their website.. (i know bbd doesn't charge anything, but people look at it the same way)

I think it's a great idea... All activity is in the video section :pissed: But 100 posts is maybe a little too much. I would say 25 posts. If you set the mark to high people will just be spamming.

the staff have went over this problem hundreds of times...i wont start doing what elitefitness do and charge ppl to view a section... yes its a good idea to get money and this whole forum thing isnt cheap to begin with... but i think its gay as hell to make ppl pay for something when they get it free else where..

also im pretty sure some punk would pay then start takin all the links and posting them on his forum or something like that.

anyway back to the problem..... i bought the hide hack for the video section.. this was the best idea we came up with... having ppl make a certain amount of posts wouldt work... having so many members sign up a day.. (up to 220 new members a day) it would just be an endless amount of spam.. and way too much moding to clean it up.

i dont think any other website has grown so quickly.. and if there is..id like to know.

the forum is only a few months old... weve got alot of members postin .. so it keeps it going.. over time the site will have more and more members posting than the usual 10-15....

some members like the hide hack and some hate.. but it cost $30 so its stayin and so far its the best thing weve came up with :)

I like it the hide content idea. It works to a certain degree. And its true, I'm sure some would leech content from the site even if it was pay for, its just the way the net works.

The hidden content and too much porn. We all love our porn but it kind of hurts the vilidity of this site.
