First rule you dont go to no web site to look if your big enough unless youre looking at entering a weight class cos youll fuck your head up before you begin. Secondly you dont worry about other people period, this is about you and you alone, its about trying to
retain muscle and getting down to what ever weight you end up at to achieve that 3-4%. If you enter a first timers or novice, you may well meet some guys who are heavier/taller, but as this is your first comp I would take the risk as its important not to set target weights, its more important to focus on retaining muscle and getting low BF and at the end of the day this is about size, symetry and condition and above all the ability to show your assets off to the judges and hide your weaknesses( cos we all have em). So practise those mandatory poses, get someone knowledgable who is honest as your third eye( cos your head will really mess with your mind when your at low BF) Tatoos go on the website check out the feds policy on this, but use a foundation tan such as protan and then use something like dream tan over the top, many guys have tats now and the thinking seems to be if its doesnt obscure thre look of the muscle it doenst get marked down. Thirdly if you reach your target of 3-4% and retain the muscle youve already achieved your goals and winning a trophy will be a bonus cos many guys set out to do a show, start to lose a little size( Even tho it may be fat and water) panic and start to eat again, so if you stay the course and do the show, what ever happens on stage, youve achieved more than many, all the best Jim
