MY wife is going to enter a contest soon, but we cant decide if she should enter the bodybuilding or the figure. She would eventually like to do figure, but all the women in the contests around here have implants and she doesnt. The women in the bodybuilding contest were not that impressive, and she would have a much better chance to place, probably win. Im trying to find a pic to post (the digital camera just took a shitter).

Let me clarify a little bit. Shes a bit too muscular/vascular right now for fitness, and she would have to work to look a bit smoother. Would the experience of doing figure be more helpful than getting as yoked as possible, doing BB and just gaining the experience of a contest as a whole? Thanks a ton.

We talked about that, but she said shed rather just focus on one or the other. Shes extremely competitive, so it would almost be too much for her if that makes sense.

I'm with freak, do both, a $40 entry fee per event wont kill your pocket, and what if she wins both!..If you think she is to defined/vascular for figure then she is, i say do the one that she has a better chance of placing in....if it comes down to it flip a coin.

Im workin on the pictures, my digital camera broke and im trying to find others to scan. She definitely has a better chance to place in the BB...only two people entered last time, and she has more of that look. This picture was taken 6 months ago, and she hadnt been to the gym in six months.(we both took a year off) Hope this helps. Yeah, it would be a local contest.

She is far to hard to compete in figure, if she wont do both the go with bodybuilding. she looks awesome, but the figure judges would mark her off as soon as she stepped on stage. there picky basterds.
