I am doing 2 shows in the spring, one at the end of march and one the second week of april, I want to peak for the first show, but i still wanna look great for the 2nd one.

Any opinions?
Would it be unwise to go through the same final prep week 2 times in like a 3 or so week window?

it's fine to do your entire pre-comp prep again, it may take its toll on your body and mind, but push through it and you will be happy with the results, my advice would be don't carb deplete and load before your first show, if you are lean enough it's a waste, just keep your carbs moderate right up until comp day, unless you are trying to make a weight class and need to lose a few lbs.

also drop your cardio to a minimum to prevent catabolism, definitely no hiit cardio. just some low intensity walking at an incline on the treadmill or bike. it also depends on how YOU feel you look and how you want to look on comp day, so you have to adjust according to your goals.

Youll get used to having to do this, most finals you have to qualify for so it means being in shape for both. Prioritise, Okay if your absolutely shredded for your first, you cant maintain this for two weeks, you will lose muscle. Increase your carb intake of complex carbs to 3 times your diet amount for the next 7 days, the next 3 lower to bout 100 carbs, the next 3 load again upto 800 complex carbs, day of the show start the day of with 50 carbs, then dependent on the time of the show eat every two hours another 30 carbs, 30 mins before going on eat 100grams fast acting carb. Water intake throughout the two weeks has normal except for last 4 days increase water 4 days out to 15 litres, 3days out 12 litres, 2 days out 8 litres, day of the show just sip water. Rem this show is finding how much carb your body can take, so don't be afraid of smoothing over, all you have to do is adjust, but dont judge this yourself, get someone who is knowledgable cos you will find at this stage your mind plays tricks on you. If your not ripped for your first show just carry on with your diet, even decreasing carb intake if you need to, all the best!

I'm doing the Southern USA Classic Level 5 Nat Qual on april 19th and the Gateway Classic Level 4 Non Qual on april 26th.. So, I'm going through similliar circumstances- I would suggest doing everything as you would usually during ur first show and not go crazy with eating after the show sat nite- just eat a good cheat meal and indulge a little but sunday morning jump rite back on the wagon and get ready to repeat the same diet for the second show. youl do fine. good luck.
