Exactly. Some athletes also use preparation-H to spot reduce bodyfat. They apply it before going into a tanning bed. Yes, this removes water like nothing else, but it will come back twice as bad within the hour. So unless you have a tanning bed backstage, good luck.

You're a pretty smart guy.
Most people think that buy being in a hot environment and sweating that they are shedding bodyfat, while they are doing the opposite. If you are cold, your body temperature will naturally try to rise to fight the cold.
Cold showers, keeping the house cool, dressing in loose clothing and so on will help to burn bodyfat. The only time I recommend it to be hot is when you are working out to help warm up your muscles to prevent injuries.
